Mums That Rave is a metaphor for challenging stereotypes about Mums and women in the music industry, in Mum life, work and beyond, whilst throwing the most immense party for parents.
MUMS THAT RAVE
Mums That Rave is a party, panel of power Mums and online community that is here to smash stereotypes of what Mum life is. We do this via the medium of music dancing, raving, chatting, positivity and welcoming everyone to our online and real life community. No judgement, just good vibes, networking and meet other likeminded Mums. Most of all MTR is about fun, music, dancing and dopeness. Just because you become a Mum does not automatically mean you are ready to give up having fun and we are all about it!
Our mantra is YOU CAN SIT WITH US #mumsthatrave
Since founding in 2019 there have been 9 Mums That Rave real life events, including daytime raves and music brunches, ladies nights out collaborations with brands including Primark, Lipcote and Marks & Spencer and online Zoom raves and a whole series of IGTV interviews with inspiring Mums across the world, backed by The Arts Council England, including Grammy Nominated artist chef and mother Kelis, TV personality & singer Jamelia, Emmerdale actress & yoga teacher Roxy Shahidi & Tik Tok sensation and dancer Marie Bussin Moves.
All events include a panel discussion, beauty stations and dope energy on the dance floor. Some of the panelists and power mums we have had attend so far from the world of fashion, media, business and music have been Lisa Maffia from So Solid crew, TV presenter Angellica Bell, comedians The Scummy Mummies and tv personality and stylist Karen Williams.
